Description
Poles Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse built of dressed uncoursed limestone with a Welsh slate roof and a brick stack on the left. The building is two storeys high and features three windows across its façade. To the right of the centre, there is a four-panelled door set beneath a gabled porch, with a three-light casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are three-light leaded casement windows flanking a two-light casement. Attached to the right side of the farmhouse is a single-storey extension with a tiled roof. The rear of the building includes 20th-century casement windows and an extension on the right. The eaves were raised in the 19th century. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in March 1985.
