Description

This barn, located at Stratford Tony House, dates from the late 18th century. It features weatherboarding on a timber frame supported by stone and flint footings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The barn consists of three bays and has central double doors that are planked but were replaced in the 20th century. The roof is half-hipped and adorned with ridge tiles. Inside, the tie-beam roof is braced to the main posts, with raking struts leading to the principals and collar. The barn is included for its group value with the surrounding structures.
