Description

Sandilands Villa is an early 19th-century building located on the north-west side of Warminster Road in Westbury. It is two storeys high, constructed of brick on a stone plinth, and features a stone string course at the first-floor level. The first floor has three windows, with the central window having a flush moulded frame and glazing bar sash, while the two outer windows are modern casements, all set beneath brick flat arches. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring a central off-ridge chimney and flat eaves.

On the ground floor, there are two plain angular 19th-century bay windows, each topped with a small bracketed cornice. The entrance consists of a six-panel central door with a three-pane rectangular overlight, which is sheltered by a flat hood supported by double scroll cut brackets. The first-floor band has the name 'Sandilands Villa' incised on it, with the inscription returning in brick to the sides. The property is also enclosed by plain cast iron railings along the road.
