Description

The Old House is an early 19th-century building located on the north-west side of South Street. It stands three storeys tall and has three windows. The structure is made of red brick and features an eaves bracket cornice and a hipped slate roof. The sash windows retain their original glazing bars, although there is one modern bay window on the ground floor. The doorway is framed by a moulded architrave surround and has a rectangular fanlight above it, with a hipped tiled roof supported by modern brick pillars. The door itself consists of six fielded panels.
