Description
No. 85 on Warminster Road is an early 19th-century house that stands two storeys tall. It features a pebbledash exterior with a stuccoed plinth, a stucco cornice string, and a parapet topped with stone coping. The roof is covered in slate. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two large three-light windows. The central entrance door has five panels and is topped with a plain rectangular fanlight, all set within a plain wooden surround beneath a flat shallow hood that has a concave carved upper part. The house is notably positioned at a road junction, which adds to its prominence.
