Description
No. 112 on Warminster Road is an early 19th-century villa constructed of red brick, featuring brick quoins and flat arches with quoining on the first floor. The ground floor openings have bracketted stone cornices, and the building has flat eaves and a hipped slate roof with side brick chimneys that have stone moulded capping. On the first floor, there are three single hung glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has two tall French casement windows flanking a blind window. The entrance is located on the return to the southwest and features a wide Boric portico with a doorway that is recessed up steps, complete with a moulded cornice and a blocking panel. The door has four moulded panels. At the rear, there is a two-storey, two-window extension. The property is bordered by a dwarf brick wall that is slightly ramped at the ends, with flanking brick piers capped in stone. The arrow heat rails and dog rails are also slightly ramped. There is an off-centre gateway with cast iron standards that feature key pattern panels and array heads, topped with stepped capping and ball finials. The top rails of the gates are braced.
