Description
No. 139 on London Road is a house dating from the early 19th century, with some minor later alterations. It is constructed of stucco with stone dressings and a plinth. The roof is made of graduated slate and features a brick stack at the rear, along with stone coping on the west gable. There is a plain ashlar eaves band with a moulded cornice and a blocking course above. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The central entrance is framed by a pilastered doorcase with a bracketed stone hood, leading to a panelled door with a panelled overdoor.
