Description

Bank Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Queens Square in Attleborough. The building is constructed of brick and features a black glazed pantiled gable roof. It has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. A semi-circular gauged arch is positioned over the central door, which is complemented by a six-vaned fanlight. There are sash windows on both the right and left sides of the door, each set under gauged skewback arches and featuring glazing bars; the left window dates from the mid-19th century. The first floor has three sash windows, also with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. The eaves cornice is dentilled, and the gabled roof includes an internal east ridge stack.
