Description

Vine Cottage is a detached house dating from the mid-19th century, situated on Bradford Road in Atworth. The house is constructed of dressed limestone with a Welsh slate roof and gable end stone stacks. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The central entrance features a 6-panelled door with a 16-pane sash window to the left and a large, small-paned 19th-century shop window to the right. A plat band runs across the first floor, above which are three 16-pane sash windows. The right return side has a pair of 4-pane sashes on the ground floor and a 12-pane sash window on the first floor. A rear integral lean-to has been added. The front of the property is distinguished by cast-iron railings, a low limestone wall, and a central single gate.
