Description

Nos 10 to 12 on Coppice Hill are two-storey houses located at a corner site, likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century, although they have been recently altered. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble and feature high-pitched pantiled roofs with eaves. On the left side, there is a door flanked by a pair of sash windows. Other windows have wood lintels and are divided by glazing bars into small panes, with some panes made of bottle glass. All first-floor windows are wood casements with glazing bars. Nos 10 and 11 have their entrances at the rear. At the top end of Coppice Hill, to the right, there is a small one-storey extension with a gable facing the street; the upper part of the gable is corbelled out. The pantiled roofs include a stone chimney stack to the right, which has a louvre on top. Nos 10 to 12 are part of a group that includes Nos 9 to 12, Nos 14 to 16, Nos 19 to 23, the Wesleyan Methodist Church, the former Wesleyan Methodist Church, and a wall with gates.
