Description

The former town wall, dating from the 19th century, is attached to the east corner of number 72 on High Street in Malmesbury. It is built on medieval footings and follows the line of the original town wall. Constructed from limestone rubble, the wall has a curving length that extends approximately 30 meters to the east.
