Description
The Dowse Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter in Cheverell Magna, approximately 9 meters southeast of the chancel. This 18th-century tomb is made of limestone and features a corniced table and a moulded base. It has panelled end pilasters and raised shield panels commemorating Williams, who died in 1800, Robert Dowse, who died in 1799, and William Dowse, who died in 1806.
