Description

The White House is an 18th-century house located in Easton Royal. The building is constructed of chalkstone or cob and brick, partly rendered, with a thatched roof. It is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays. The left two bays are rendered, featuring an off-centre entrance with a six-panelled door set within a heavy frame, and a timber canopy supported by brackets. There are 19th-century six-paned sash windows, including a bay window to the right. A stack is located to the left of the through passage, and a second stack is situated to the right of the centre bay. An additional external stack has been added to the left gable. The interior has not been inspected, but may contain features of interest.
