Description

Thatched Cottage is an early to mid 19th century cottage ornée, prominently located at the top of Market Street. It is a single storey building with an attic, constructed from rubble and topped with a thatched roof. The roof features a hipped dormer that is also thatched, which includes a wooden-framed dormer window with two lights, Gothic tops, and diamond-leaded lights. The ground floor has three pairs of Gothic pointed windows with raised surrounds, also featuring diamond-leaded lights. To the left, there is a square-headed doorway with a hipped thatched porch above. On the right side, there is a lean-to thatched extension with one pointed light.
