Description
Number 18 on Market Street is an 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features a front made of painted ashlar. It has a plain parapet, and behind it, there is likely a 17th-century gable-end with a saddle stone. Each floor has one window, which are sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. The building also has shutters and a string-course below the first floor. The shop front has been modernized. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 8 and the boundary wall at Priory Lodge, as well as Nos 10 to 35 with an elevated pavement in front of No 21.
