Description

No 20 Market Street is a 17th-century building constructed of painted rubble, featuring a steep gable and a stone-tiled roof. The gable includes a three-light stone-mullioned casement window. On the ground floor, there is a later square-headed doorway and a fixed light window with glazing bars. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 8 and the boundary wall at Priory Lodge, which together form a group with Nos 10 to 35 and the elevated pavement in front of No 21.
