Description
These are two 18th-century buildings on Market Street. They are two storeys high and built of ashlar stone. The roof is covered with modern pantiles, and there are ashlar chimney stacks and parapets with decorative kneelers to the end gables. The building has two windows on each floor, with sash windows set in reveals. A sill band runs along the first-floor windows. A late 19th-century shop front and a central entrance door are on the ground floor. The buildings are listed for their group value, alongside numbers 5-8, numbers 10-35, a boundary wall at Priory Lodge, and the elevated pavement in front of number 21.
