Description
Whyr Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar with a slate roof and features a double pile plan, with a rear block made of brick. The building has three bays and a central six-panelled door that is topped by a fanlight and a bracketed moulded hood. The windows are sixteen-paned sashes with flush keyed stone lintels, and there is a gable stack. A farmhouse has been on this site since around 1700.
