Description
The Monk monument, located in the churchyard about 2 metres west of the Church of St. John, is a chest tomb dating from the mid-18th century. It is made of limestone and features a plinth with two recessed panels on the main sides, complemented by corner and central fielded pilasters. The tomb has a moulded flat top. It commemorates William Monk, who died in 1755.
