Description
The Manse and attached Baptist Chapel is a redundant Baptist chapel and manse built in the early 19th century. It features ashlar and dressed limestone construction with a Welsh slate roof and a brick stack on the left side. The two-storey manse has a central six-panelled door flanked by two-light casements. On the first floor, there are three two-light casements, all set within moulded architraves. The roof has coped verges, and the rear includes an outshut with a planked door and two-light casements.
The chapel has two pointed windows with plain glazing bars at both the front and rear. The entrance on the right side has a Tudor-arched porch door with a ledged door and two blocked pointed windows. Inside the manse, there are six-panelled doors, a classical fireplace, a staircase with stick balusters, and internal shutters. The chapel features a panelled gallery above the entrance, with turned balusters, six-panelled doors, and a reading desk.
