Description
This is an 18th-century building of ashlar construction, standing forward from the row. It is three storeys high and features two sashed windows with glazing bars in plain reveals. A plain string course runs at the first floor level, and a moulded string course at the second. The building has a moulded cornice and a plain parapet. A square-headed doorway is to the left, incorporating an oblong fanlight with Gothick glazing bars, and a six-panel door. Nos. 38 to 49 form a group.
