Description

This milestone, located approximately 30 meters south of the Church Street junction, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of painted stone and features a rectangular pillar with a gabled top. The painted inscription on the milestone indicates the distances to Marlborough and Andover, each marked as "X Mile."
