Description

Milestone located to the right of the blind house on Maddington Street in Shrewton. This milestone dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. It has a narrow rectangular shape with a weathered top. The front features an incised inscription that reads: "LXXXIV / Miles from / LONDON VI from Amesbury."
