14/146 Glass monument in churchyard about 2m north of Dole Stone, north-west of north porch of Church of St Mary

GV II

Chest tomb, mid C18, ashlar with 2 shield plaques each side, fielded panelled centre and angle piers, shield end plaques and moulded base and cornice with pulvinated frieze broken forward over piers. Angles have been rounded subsequently. North side inscriptions to Elizabeth Glass d.1798 and Robert Glass d.1808.
