Description
NEW STREET 1. 1594 (South Side) No 35 SU 1429 NW 3/110 28.2.52. II GV 2. C18, late, 2 storeys and attic, white bricks, stone plinth, stone band at 1st floor cill level and over 1st floor windows parapet with stone coping. Old tile roof. 2 dormer windows in attic. The front has had 2 arched recessed flanking central door and window at 1st floor level but right hand recess has been altered to form garage door. 2 semi-circular 3-light windows flanking small square central window at lst floor level, 1 3-light window to left hand, central door and modern garage door at ground floor. Central door - 6 flush panelled door recessed, flush panelled reveals, moulded architrave breaking forward over panelled pilasters with moulded caps, plain frieze with moulded centre panel, the bed mould of small moulded cornice over bay denticulated over panel in frieze, small moulded pediment.
Nos 21 to 49 (odd), the School of Arts and Crafts, Nos 61, 63 and Nos 67 to 75 (odd) form a group.
