Description

29 New Street is a 17th-century building that stands two storeys high and is finished in stucco. It features a gable end roof covered with old tiles and shows signs of a jettied first floor. On the right side, there is one window and a modern door. To the left, there is a full-height yard entry with plain double doors. Additionally, some fragmentary traces of timber framing can be seen. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 22 to 49 (odd), the School of Arts and Crafts, and Nos 61, 63, and 67 to 75 (odd).
