Description
Bellevue Cottage is a two-storey building dating from around 1830. It has a rendered, painted exterior on a plinth, with chamfered quoins on the right side. The roof is low-pitched and hipped, covered with slate and featuring an eaves band. The cottage has four recessed sash windows with glazing bars and block sills on the first floor, and three windows on the ground floor, along with a recessed door made up of six flush panels. A large tent hood with a finial is supported by cast iron columns above the door. To the right, there is a lean-to with a door that has six panels, two of which are glazed. The house is positioned at right angles to the Girls Hostel and is surrounded by attractive trees in the garden. Bellevue Cottage and the Girls Hostel are part of a group of buildings.
