Description
This milestone, located 1 mile west of Ludgershall Village, dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. It is a square block that has suffered significant erosion and features fixing points where a front plate is missing. There is a benchmark below the milestone. This structure is part of a series of milestones along the turnpike route from Andover to Devizes.
