Description
Harden's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1781, constructed from squared rubble stone with a hipped concrete tile roof and rear stacks. The building has two storeys and features a four-window range of cyma-moulded flush mullion windows, with 2-light windows above and a combination of 2-light, 3-light, a door, and 2-light windows below. The ground floor windows are adorned with dripstones, and the door is set in a flush moulded surround topped with a stone hood supported by brackets. A date plaque reading 'E 1781' is positioned above the door. The east end wall has a range of similar windows and a stack at the former north end. There is a rendered brick extension to the north with a ridge stack. The west end retains an original rear wing with a north end stack and a two-window range of similar windows facing west. Additionally, there is a single storey range to the north. Most original casements have been replaced with 20th-century glazing.
