Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 6 meters south-west of the porch of the Church of St Mary, St Katherine and All Saints in Edington. It is probably from the late Medieval period and is made of limestone. The tomb features a heavily chamfered plinth, plain sides, and a hollow chamfered flat top. It is also known as the Dole Stone, as charities were traditionally distributed to the poor from the top of this monument.
