Description

EDINGTON EDINGTON VILLAGE ST 95 SW (north side) 5/144 Unidentified monument in the churchyard about 6m south-west of porch of Church of St Mary, St Katherine and All Saints GV II Chest tomb. Probably late Medieval. Limestone. Heavily chamfered plinth, plain sides and hollow chamfered flat top. Also known as the Dole Stone, charities were traditionally distributed to the poor from the top of this monument.
