Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb from the 18th century, located about 14 metres north of the north porch of the Church of St. Mary in Almondsbury. The tomb is made of limestone and features a flat sandstone top with a moulded edge. It has decorative carvings on the east and west sides, as well as pairs of circular inscription panels on the north and south sides, which are now illegible. The tomb also has decorative carvings in the spandrels and a moulded base.
