Description
The Shepherd Monument, located in the churchyard about 0.5 metre south east of the chancel of the Church of St Leonard, is a chest tomb dating from the late 18th century. It is made of limestone and features a moulded plinth with two fielded panels on each side. The centre panel is adorned with a floral drop, and there is a fluted frieze with quarter balusters supporting the moulded flat top. The earliest legible date on the monument is 1771.
