Description
A group of three cottages, now a cottage and two shops, dated to the early 18th century. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble stone, with Nos. 21 and 23 rendered. They have a double Roman tiled roof and brick stacks. The arrangement is two storeys high with three windows. No. 19 has a 19th-century door with a chamfered door case, and a three-light cyma-mullioned window on the left-hand side. Nos. 21 and 23 have 20th-century shop fronts. The first floor has three two-light cyma-mullioned windows. The roof features two hipped dormers. On the right return side, there is a blocked chamfered door case and a three-light cyma-mullioned window to the ground floor, and a two-light and a single cyma-moulded window to the first floor. At the rear are two-storey rubble stone wings with pantiled roofs and cyma-mullioned windows. The group is listed for its group value with No. 25.
