Description
70 and 72 Curzon Street are a semi-detached pair of houses, built in 1911. They are constructed from coursed and squared limestone with ashlar dressings and feature a gabled pantile roof with a brick ridge stack. The houses have a double-depth plan and stand two storeys tall, with a four-window range on the first floor. The facade is designed in the Domestic Tudor style, showcasing label moulds above plank doors that have chamfered stone architraves, as well as above mullioned windows with chamfered stone surrounds. The outer first-floor windows are two-light, flanking a double-gabled center that has three-light windows. The interior has not been inspected. These houses are included for their group value.
