Description
The mortuary chapel of Curzon Street Cemetery, built in 1867, is a single-storey structure designed in the decorated Gothic Revival style. It is constructed from squared, coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a double Roman tiled roof. The chapel has a rectangular open plan and includes a south porch. The gabled porch, which extends above the eaves line of the chapel, has an open two-centred arch supported by attached columns, a hood mould with head stops, and two-leaf inner doors. The porch is flanked by two-light windows, and the gable ends have three-light windows. The porch roof is supported by scissor braces. The interior has not been inspected.
