Description

Curzon House is a mid-19th century house located on Curzon Street, Calne. It is constructed of limestone ashlar on the front, with a rendered wall on the left-hand side; the roof is slate, stone-coped, and has moulded kneelers and a finial to the left gable. A brick stack is located at the right end. The building follows a double-depth plan, which includes a lower rear service range. The two-storey front elevation features a single window with a label mould above a two-light Tudor-style window, which has chamfered stone surrounds and a mullion. Similar fenestration is present on the left-hand return, where an ashlar open porch fronts a plank door. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
