Description
Well Close Lodge is an 18th-century building constructed from coursed rubble. It stands three storeys tall and features three windows, of which two are blocked. The windows are sashes set in reveals with glazing bars. There are plain strings at the first-floor level and at the sill levels of the first and second floors, along with a moulded cornice and a plain parapet. The central entrance has a six-panelled door topped by an oblong fanlight, located in a porch that slightly projects and has a pedimental roof supported by cut stone brackets. The property includes a wall-enclosed forecourt and a front garden that is accessed from the road by a long pathway. Well Close Lodge is part of a group that includes Nos 4, 6, and 7.
