Description

Nos 14 and 16 Newtown are two adjacent houses dating from the 17th century. They are two storeys high with attics and constructed of rubble, topped with modern pantiles at the eaves. The buildings feature two modern dormers and have three windows, which are two- and three-light wood casements. A central chamfered square-headed opening leads to a passageway, with entrance doors located in the side walls. Both floors have continuous drip moulds over the windows. Nos 14 and 16 are part of a group that includes Nos 10 and 10B, 13, and Nos 17 and 18.
