Description

This milestone, located about 150 metres south of the Bath Arms, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of limestone and features a square cast-iron plate with clear lettering that reads "Longleat/House/1 Mile." This milestone is part of a series that were erected on the approach roads leading to Longleat House.
