GV II

Two coach houses and barn. Late C18 with C19 alterations and additions. Squared and coursed rubble with segmental-headed brick voussoirs to street front, limewashed coursed rubble to rear ranges with some brickwork; double Roman tiles to street section and rear coach house, stone slates to barn. Irregular L-shaped plan around inn courtyard: coach house (now garages) to street, barn and further coach house to rear. Plank doors and steps up to loft in barn. Included principally for group value with The Plough Inn (q.v.).
