Description
Church Cottages, dating from the late 17th century, were originally four cottages and have undergone 19th-century alterations and an addition. They are constructed of coursed rubble with stone dressings, and have gabled stone slate roofs with four end stacks and one ridge stack. The layout is cruciform, presenting four gable ends to the wings, with a further addition to the east. The cottages are two storeys high with attics. There are 2 and 3-light mullion windows with chamfered mullions, hoodmoulds, and 2-pane casements. Plank doors are set within angles, each with a lean-to porch. The addition features 19th-century wooden casement windows. The interior is not accessible.
