Description
The Fleming monument, located in the churchyard about 3 metres north of the Church of St. Mary, is a Grade II listed chest tomb commemorating William Fleming, who died in 1835. It is made of limestone and designed in an 18th-century style. The tomb features a plinth, two beaded panels on the main sides, beaded pilasters, and a moulded flat top. This monument is a late example of the two-panel design commonly found in this churchyard.
