Description

The direction stone, dating from the late 19th century, is made of painted ashlar. It features a rounded V-plan stone kerb with inscriptions indicating directions: 'To Marshfield and Bristol' on the south face and 'To Yatton Keynell, Grittleton, Badminton and Sodbury' on the north-east face. At the top, there is a triangular stone that has the inscription 'To Chippenham' on the two visible faces.
