Description
95 Castle Street is a 17th or 18th century building with a roughcast front and two storeys. It features a steeply pitched gable end roof covered with old tiles, and the rafter ends are visible. There is a flat-roofed dormer and two windows on the first floor, with one window on the ground floor. The ground floor has a flush framed sash window with later glazing, while the first floor has two 19th century casement windows. The door has a plain surround and consists of four flush panels, two of which are glazed. The north gable end displays exposed early 18th century stud framing with brick infilling. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 77 to 87 (odd), No 2 Avon View, and Nos 91 to 95 (odd).
