Description
No 15 is a cottage located on Lower Road, built in 1795 as indicated by the datestone on the first floor. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick and features a thatched roof with a brick chimney stack on the right side. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. There is a planked door to the left of the centre, a 3-light segmental-headed casement window to the right, and another planked door with a 2-light segmental-headed casement window to the left. A two-brick dentilled plat band runs along the first floor, which has two additional 2-light casements. At the rear, there are a single-light casement and a 2-light casement. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is a well-preserved example of a typical 18th-century cottage in this parish.
