Description
Wellington Place, built in 1825, consists of eight consecutive red brick houses, with some grey headers and grey header consoles that align with the voussoirs. The ground floor of number 1 is rendered. The buildings feature a half-hipped old tile roof, while numbers 5 to 8 have slate roofs. There are brick stacks and the houses are two storeys tall, with oversailing courses at the eaves. Each house has a range of flush-framed cased sashes with glazing bars, except for the first floor of number 1 and number 4, which have modern casements. Numbers 4, 5, 6, and 8 have flush-panelled doors, while the others have modern doors. The datestone on the building bears the initials "JP".
