Description
44 and 45 High Street are 18th-century buildings constructed of chequer brick. They are two storeys tall with attics and feature a brick dentil eaves cornice and a mansard roof covered with old tiles. The buildings have two gabled dormers and two windows that are four panes wide on the first floor, with a modern ground floor beneath a tile pent-roof. Nos 42 to 64 form a group with St Peter and St Paul's Church, as well as Nos 65 to 85, The Sun Public House, and Nos 88 to 90.
