Description

The outbuildings to the north-west of Manor Farmhouse, dating from around 1840, consist of cowbyres, pigsties, and shelter sheds arranged around three sides of a farmyard, with entrances on the east and west sides. They are constructed from squared and coursed rubble with stone dressings, featuring wooden lintels and stone slate roofs. The cowbyre range on the north side has a gabled roof supported by square stone piers and includes some brick dividing walls. The pigsty range to the left has a roof that was decayed at the time of the last survey in June 1986. The east entrance is marked by gatepiers and gables at the ends of the ranges, creating the appearance of lodges, and features cambered-headed windows with wooden cross-mullions.
