Description

The barn at Odstock Farm is a late 18th-century structure. It features an English bond brick plinth with weatherboarding on a timber frame, and the right bay is constructed in Flemish bond. The roof is half-hipped, made of tiles and corrugated iron, and the barn has seven bays. There are double doors located in a hipped porch to the right of the center. The right side includes one and a half bays that are early 19th-century brick additions, which contain an internal partition wall made of brick. The roof structure consists of a braced tie-beam supported by jowled main posts, with additional posts to the collar and struts to the principals, along with butt purlins. The barn was undergoing renovation at the time of the survey in September 1984.
