Description
This is a late 18th century lampstand located about 10 to 15 yards north-west of Beechwood. It is made of fine cast and wrought iron and features an overthrow designed for a lantern. The lampstand has a double scrolled and swagged pattern in the overthrow, with slightly tapering standards that include arrow shafts from the mid-point and lozenge spaces. The listed buildings on the north side of the Conigre form a group with West Croft and Nos 1 and 2 Waldron's Square in British Row.
